Afternoon Communion Service On Tuesday 10 October we will be having another afternoon communion service at 2.30 pm, after which refreshments will be served. Although this service is intended for those members who may find it difficult to attend morning worship, all are most welcome. We hope residents from Chamberlain Care Home and Morlich House will join us. |

Fundraising Appeal
War in UkraineThis Season of Lent, we are asking our congregation and community to provide support to those suffering from war in Ukraine.
We are directly fundraising for two organizations that are providing relief and tangible support directly to refugees and those still within the country of Ukraine. Our church doors are open most days... please come in, pray, meditate and light a candle for those affected by this awful war and humanitarian crisis. |
DEC Ukraine Humanitarian AppealAcross the UK, every pound donated to the DEC by the UK public will be matched by the UK Government through its Aid Match scheme up to the value of £20 million. The Scottish Government will be contributing £2 million to the appeal.

Hungarian Reform Church Aide - UkraineThe Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA), a long time partner of the Hungarian community in Ukraine, is providing food and hygiene supplies, information, spiritual assistance and accommodation to victims in Ukraine. The RCHA has access to the Reformed church in Ukraine, who are using their buildings to support the people moving from east to west as they seek safety and sanctuary. They also are working in the border areas of Hungary, Slovakia and Romania using the Reformed Church contacts and buildings there. Staff members and volunteers are receiving refugees at the border stations and train stations.
By donating through the Church of Scotland you may be able to add gift aid to your donation. To see daily updates from the HRCA: https://reformatus.hu/english/news/emergency-response-for-ukraine/ |
