Rev. Steven Manders
Steven was inducted as the minister of Morningside United Church in September 2015. He was ordained at Nairn United Reform Church in 2008, and served there as minister until his transfer to Morningside.
Prior to the ministry, Steven worked in the field of social work and was a lay member of Morningside United Church. He serves as an Honorary Chaplain for Edinburgh Napier University´s chaplaincy team, and a United Reform Church representative to Edinburgh Churches Together - a ecumenical group of churches working in partnership for social progress across Edinburgh City. Steven holds a degree in law. In the brief moments between his many pastoral responsibilities, he might be found tucked in to one of our local coffee shops. He enjoys entertaining and is an excellent cook. |
