Rev. Sarah Moore - Transitional Minister

Picture
I have been ordained as a Minister in the United Reformed Church for almost 19 years serving initially as a local church minister in Darwen, Lancashire.
I was born and grew up in London and read for my first degree (in Theology and Religious Studies) at what was then the Roehampton Institute before training for ministry at Westminster College, Cambridge, one of the URC’s training colleges gaining a Masters degree in Pastoral Theology.  Two degrees weren’t enough so I have also studied part time for a foundation degree in Counselling and an Open University degree in Law since ordination!
I have served in Scotland working as part of the synod team at the National Synod of Scotland since January 2020.  My role is promoting and enabling transition ministry helping local congregations and the people who lead them develop and take next steps in mission and ministry.

Drew Chricton - Organist, Director of Music

Drew started his Bachelor of Music degree at Edinburgh Napier University in 2012. Shortly after starting university, he also took up a choral scholarship at St Andrews and St Georges church. In 2015 he was awarded an organ scholarship at the church under the tutelage of Brigitte Harris. In 2016 Drew graduated from Napier University with first class honours and was awarded the Makin Piano prize for his year. It was also at this time that he was made assistant organist at St Andrews and St Georges West.

Drew has performed at the Fringe festival on multiple occasions and plays regularly for choirs in Edinburgh and Glasgow. As well as his organ commitments, Drew has a busy teaching schedule at George Watsons College and Mansfield School of Music.
